On Friday morning I felt the baby kick two times. It was so neat! I am sure I will be feeling him kick and move more often! My belly has also gotten a lot bigger in the past couple of weeks!

Week 18
Baby Mussetter is about the size of a sweet potato! He sure is getting big! He is also busy yawning, hiccupping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking, and swallowing (according to thebump.com).

Week 17
Baby Mussetter is about the size of an onion! His skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. His umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes now feature one-of-a-kind prints (according to thebump.com).

We had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday with Dr. Melvin. The baby's heartbeat was 155 beats per minute. I have now lost a grand total of 12 pounds and my blood pressure keeps getting a little bit higher at each visit. Dr. Melvin said that they would continue to monitor my blood pressure. So hopefully it doesn't continue to increase!!

Week 16
Baby Mussetter is about the size of an avacado.

The tiny bones in our little boy's ears are starting to form, meaning he can now pick up the sound of my voice. His eyebrows, lashes, and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming (according to thebump.com). However, at our ultrasound on Tuesday it was quite obvious that our little boy already has a head full of hair!
I started feeling the baby flutter around this week. I started out just feeling him in the evenings when I would sit and watch TV. But now I am able to feel him throughout the day when I am sitting still.
When we had the ultrasound on Tuesday, I told her right where I have been feeling him move, and sure enough, that is where he was at. His little head is in my hip. I think he is a wiggle worm!!

What's It Gonna Bee?

Our appointment is at 4:30pm, so I will have to make it through the whole day before we find out. I am pretty sure that I won't get any sleep tonight either. HaHa! :)
I have only dreamed about the baby twice and both times the baby is a girl. Jason really wants another boy, but thinks that we are having a girl because he "never gets what he wants." HaHa! Either way, I know we will both be excited!

Week 15
Baby Mussetter is about the size of an orange! The little fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy (according to thebump.com), even though I can't feel it yet. I can't wait till I can feel the baby moving around! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will start feeling the baby flutter around.
