Show Us Your Life - Dining Room

It's Friday (even though I am posting this a day early) and time for another room in the Home Tour with Kelly from Kelly's Korner.  So far we have toured our living rooms and master bedrooms.  This week, we continue the tour with our dining rooms.  I still haven't decorated for Fall and Halloween!  Hopefully I will get my decorations out before the season is over!  I have enjoyed "touring" everyone's homes so far, and I can't wait to see everyone's dining rooms!Coming up next week ~ Show Us Your Life – Kitchen.

Crib Bedding

I finally decided on some crib bedding for BBM.  I have always LOVED bumble bees and I really wanted to use bumble bees in the baby's room.  I actually purchased a crib set a couple of years ago that had bumble bees on it, but just recently I came across another set that really would go well in the baby's room since he and my step-son, Damien, will be sharing a room.  Here are a few "stock" pictures from the website of the crib bedding:
I got most of the "accessories" that are shown in the 1st picture (with the exception of the border, the lamp, and the mobile).  Although, I don't know how much of them I will use! :)

Week 22

Baby Mussetter is about the size of a papaya! He is busy settling into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day (according to thebump.com).Jason and I assembled BBM's crib last Saturday. Boy, was that a lot of fun! I also went to a consignment sale on Saturday and got a few things. BBM is still busy moving around and kicking. Sometimes I feel like he is doing flips! It is also hard for me to go to sleep whenever he is moving around so much - I am sure it will only get worse!!

And, I have been having some CRAZY pregnancy dreams lately! Saturday night, I had fallen asleep and Jason was still awake watching tv (not a big surprise seeing that I go to bed at about 8pm). I started talking in my sleep and said, "The military did it." Of course Jason had to ask me what exactly the military had done! My response, "They took the diapers." Seriously! Where in the world did I come up with that crazy dream! In my defense Jason was watching The History Channel when I fell asleep (BORING). And, the funny thing is that I remember Jason asking me what the military did, but in my dream we were watching a movie and I couldn't figure out why he was asking me what was going on. However, I don't remember saying that the military took the diapers. Too funny!

Show Us Your Life - Living Room

Kelly from Kelly's Korner is starting up the Show Us Where You Live series again with Home Tours! I love seeing how other people decorate. I think it is a great way to get ideas that can be incorporated into your decor!

Week 21

Baby Mussetter is about the size of a banana!
I had a doctor's appointment on Monday with Dr. Wilson. BBM's heartbeat was 142 beats per minute. It is always reassuring to hear his heart beating away! I still haven't gained any weight, although my belly feels like it is getting bigger by the minute! I really thought my "sickness" was going away but, no such luck. I have felt very nauseous all week. Hopefully the sickness will start tapering off soon! I am also having trouble sleeping throughout the night. I struggle to get comfortable and I usually just end up tossing and turning for most of the night.

I cannot believe how much BBM is kicking and moving around! I can't imagine how it is going to feel in a couple of months! It already feels like he is doing flips!

And despite my complaining (which I am sure will get worse in the weeks to follow) - about how uncomfortable I am, and how I am tired of being sick, and how I am sick of going to the bathroom every 10 minutes, etc. - I am so thankful to have a healthy baby boy growing inside of me.

Blog Makeover

I decided that it was time for a change on this blog. So, I found a new background from Shabby Blogs. I love owls, so I really like the new design! :)

Week 20

Baby Mussetter is about the size of a cantaloupe! He is busy gulping down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, his taste buds actually work too (according to thebump.com). I guess I should probably think about eating more of a variety of foods - something other than Mexican! :)On Monday morning (at about 2am after we got home from the Emergency Room with Damien) BBM decided to start kicking like crazy. Jason was able to feel him kick quite a few times. I have definitely noticed an increase in his movements lately. I love to talk and sing (not that I am any good at it) to BBM, he tends to respond and move around. He is probably trying to escape from my horrible singing! HaHa!

I am officially half way through my pregnancy. I cannot wait until BBM arrives!
