Broken Arm

On Sunday, September 5th, Damien decided it would be a good idea to ride his bicycle down a hill and take his hands off of the handlebars. I am pretty sure that he has now figured out that it wasn't such a good idea!
He broke both bones (radius and ulna) in his right arm about an inch above his wrist. He also scraped up the right side of his face when he hit the pavement.
The surgeon took him back to the operating room and was able to re-set the bones without cutting him open. He is in a splint and a temporary cast until he goes back to the doctor in a week. Then he will get a new cast that he will wear for about 6 weeks.
